Eligibility Requirements:
Player must have remaining college eligibility to participate. Player
must have completed at least one full year of school or have at least one year remaining.
Doubleheaders: Each game in a doubleheader will consist of nine innings unless it is being
played because of a rain out. If a resumed game is played and a second game follows, each
game will consist of nine full innings. Only a scheduled doubleheader where neither game
has been previously started will consist of two seven-inning games.
Playoff Teams:
Eight – The top four teams in each division advance to the playoffs.
Playoff Format:
Three rounds, best-of-three series, beginning on August 1. Teams will be
seeded one through four in the Eastern Division and Western Division. The Divisional semifinals will pit #1 vs. #4 and #2 vs. #3, within each division. The format will be 1-1-1, with the higher seed hosting games one and three. The Eastern and Western Division finals will be the same format, with the higher seed hosting games one and three. The championship series will be a 1-1-1 schedule. The hosting format will be decided by the competing teams.
