The 2010 Major League Baseball amateur entry draft featured the second-highest draft class of New York Collegiate Baseball League athletes in the over 30-year history of the league. Thirty-six players with ties to the league were selected and over the last two years, 79 former players have been drafted by Major League clubs. This year’s draft class is second all-time in league history behind 2009’s record-breaking class of 43 players.
