Stan Lehman steps down as Commissioner/President of the NYCBL
After six years as Commissioner/President and a total of eleven years with the NYCBL Stan Lehman decided late this summer to step down.
Saturday, October 18th the NYCBL board elected Steve Pindar President and Jake Dennstedt Commissioner.
Pindar is the President of the Oneonta Outlaws while Dennstedt has been the NYCBL Director of Baseball Operations.
"The league has a very experienced team not only with Steve and Jake," Lehman commented. "The entire board brings a wide range of skills to the table which greatly benefit the NYCBL."
Other NYCBL officers elected include Cal Kern (Niagara Power) Vice President, Dan Russo (Treasurer), and Paul Welker (Hornell Dodgers) Secretary.
Lehman continues with the league as an advisor. Prior to his position as NYCBL Commisioner/President, Lehman owned and operated the Brockport Riverbats. While under his guidance Brockport claimed the 2008 NYCBL championship. Lehman is also a board member of the National Alliance of College Summer Baseball (NACSB).
