Former Salt Cats find success in pro ball
FORMER SYRACUSE SALT CATS FIND SUCCESS IN PRO BALL
Dan Fiorito (photo above) 11' and 12' completed his 4th season in the New York Yankees organization. With stints in AAA, AA. He ended the season in Trenton and had several weeks with Scranton Wilkes Barre in AAA.
Brian Bilello 15' is hitting 4th in the Desert League in Arizona with the Yuma Maple Leafs. He is first in RBI, 2nd in hits, has 26 RBI.
Julian Bilodeau has signed with the Roswell Invaders of the Pecos league after playing in the Hudson River Indy league.
Manny Colon 14' 15' had a very successful season in his first season in the Indy Pro Pecos league in 2016 playing with the Garden City Wind. He played in 52 games hitting .268 with 6 Home runs.
Kyle Perez 15' completed his first season in the Indy Pro Pecos league 2016 with the Roswell Invaders.He appeared in 32 games and had 37.1 IP. He was 3-0 and has signed to play in the Mexican winter league.
Andrew Medeiros 13' was rated in the top IBC (International Baseball Community) performers in Europe for 2016. He also got the hit in the finals of the International Home run derby that won it. He was rated 16th in the first division players, playing for the Rouen Huskies in the French Elite League. He hit .353, had 13 doubles, 3 triples and 3 home runs and slugged .563. He was last season’s #1 ranked batter. He has played in Australia and in Belgium.
